BCBA Supervision

Why Choose ABA Therapy Under BCBA Supervision?

Evidence-based ABA programs guided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for meaningful and measurable progress.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) plays a critical role in ensuring that ABA therapy is individualized, evidence-based, and aligned with each child's developmental needs. Rather than simply providing therapy sessions, a BCBA designs and oversees the entire intervention process to help children achieve meaningful outcomes.

At Dew Drops Child Development Centre Indore, our ABA programs are supervised by an experienced BCBA to maintain high clinical standards, ethical practices, and continuous progress monitoring.

What Does a BCBA Do?

The Clinical Backbone of Every ABA Program

Conduct Comprehensive Assessments

Identifies each child's strengths, challenges and developmental needs before creating an intervention plan.

Develop Individualized Treatment Plans

Creates personalized ABA programs based on functional assessments and measurable goals.

Train & Supervise Therapists

Provides ongoing guidance, coaching and quality assurance for therapists implementing ABA sessions.

Analyze Progress Data

Reviews therapy data regularly to evaluate effectiveness and make informed clinical decisions.

Modify Interventions

Adjusts strategies whenever needed based on the child's progress and current evidence.

Support Families

Works closely with parents through education, coaching and collaborative goal setting to improve outcomes across home and community settings.

Why BCBA Supervision Matters

The Difference Clinical Oversight Makes

ABA Therapy Under BCBA Supervision Without Regular BCBA Supervision
Individualized assessment May rely on generic goals
Personalized treatment planning Limited customization
Regular progress monitoring Goals may not be updated consistently
Functional behavior analysis Underlying causes of behavior may be overlooked
Ongoing therapist supervision Limited coaching and quality assurance
Parent guidance and training Less family involvement
Ethical and evidence-based practice Greater risk of inconsistent intervention
Continuous program modification Slower adaptation to the child's changing needs
Potential Challenges

Risks Without BCBA Supervision

  • Therapy goals may not be fully individualized.
  • Progress may be slower due to limited data-driven decision making.
  • Challenging behaviours may not be assessed comprehensively.
  • Therapists may receive less clinical guidance.
  • Parents may have fewer opportunities for structured coaching.
  • Skills may be harder to generalize across home, school and community settings.
Applied Behavior Analysis

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy) is a scientific approach to understanding behavior and how it is influenced by the environment. ABA Therapy applies evidence-based techniques to improve meaningful behaviors while reducing behaviors that interfere with learning and daily life.

It is internationally recognized as one of the most effective therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and also benefits children with ADHD, developmental delays, speech delays, learning difficulties and behavioral challenges.

At Dew Drops Child Development Centre in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, our experienced BCBA-supervised therapists provide individualized ABA Therapy programs that help every child build independence, confidence and lifelong skills.

FAQ

Honest answers to the questions parents actually ask

If your question is not here, our team is happy to answer it on a free discovery call.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy is the most extensively researched therapy for autism and developmental delays. Done well — by a BCBA — it is individualized, play-based and focused on the skills your child will use in real life.

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst is an internationally credentialled clinician trained to design and supervise ABA Therapy programmes ethically. Without BCBA oversight, 'ABA Therapy' in India often means generic worksheets and untrained staff. We do not do that.

We accept children from around 18 months. The earlier we begin, the bigger the gains — but children of all ages benefit when the programme is designed for them.

School readiness is one of the core goals of our recovery model. We coordinate with schools, train shadow teachers and prepare children for group classrooms whenever it is the right outcome for the child.

It depends on the assessment. Some children thrive with focused short programmes; others benefit from comprehensive early intervention. We recommend honestly, never to fill a schedule.
